We're revolutionizing the study of classical literature with this season's incredibly silly, yet educational comedy. We'll meet many of the traditional characters whose tales are told in high school, along with a few who end up in the wrong play. This enjoyable, screwball comedy is in the Monty Pythonesque style.
The three performance dates/times are:
- Friday, May 17 at 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 18 at 4:30 p.m.
- Sunday, May 19 at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are $8 each and may be purchased at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center prior to each performance, or at the door the night of the performance if tickets are not sold out. Please call (708) 342-4200 for more information....more info
This new dramatic-comedy is a marvelous combination of heart and humor, and was created as an answer to the many requests of such a play. Troubled children and teens are lost in the chaos of the penal system until they have an opportunity to regain a fresh, meaningful and genuine life at the Purple Pelican Halfway House. There they deal with their ongoing problems by being introduced to a remarkable improv program that allows them to develop skills, character and courage. Only through learning the comical side of their existence and finding their "voice", can these young people survive without destroying one another or themselves.
The three performance dates/times are:
- Friday, May 17 at 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday, May 18 at 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday, May 19 at 4:30 p.m.
Tickets are $8 each and may be purchased at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center prior to each performance or at the door the night of the performance if tickets are not sold out. Call (708) 342-4200 for more information....more info
