Tinley Park-Park District is excited to introduce its new sensory room, Calm Cabin, designed to engage and support your senses in a welcoming environment. Explore state-of-the-art technology and hands-on equipment that provides a variety of sensory experiences through interactive and calming features.
Calm Cabin primarily benefits individuals of any age with:
Autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, sensory processing disorders and dementia
improved focus, fewer disruptive behaviors, decreased anxiety, decreased stress, improved communication, enhanced social skills
Resident:Â $30 per 30 minute session
Non-Resident: $40 per 30 minute session
Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Tinley Park-Park District staff will be on-site to assist with the space; however, supervision and therapeutic services will not be provided.
Rental periods are for one 30 minute session.
