Teen Theater: Barbecuing Hamlet

In addition to building acting abilities such as confidence, expression and storytelling, participants are introduced to the technical side of theater, learning how productions come together behind the scenes through stage crew work, props and costumes. Students gain hands-on experience in areas like set construction, organizing and preparing props and designing or maintaining costumes, which teaches responsibility, attention to detail and basic crafting or tool skills.
