SUMMARY:Independence Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Village of Tinley Park and the Tinley Park Park District are hosting a joint Independence Day Celebration from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday\, July 4 at McCarthy Park\, 16801 S. 80th Ave.\, Tinley Park. \nFestivities will kick off with live music by Five Guys Named Moe at 4 p.m. and Spoken Four at 6:40 p.m.\, followed by food and beverages for sale from local vendors\, inflatables for kids\, bingo\, a magic show by the Great Boodini\, and a gun salute and flag-raising ceremony. The celebration will end with a fireworks show set to patriotic music at 9:30 p.m. Visitors will also be able to enjoy mini golf and batting cages all day! \nFood and beverage vendors will include Durbin’s\, Joey’s\, Monster Gyro\,  Pierogi Rig\, Tone Capone Tacos\, Salubrious Stop\, and Kona Ice. Identification must include a photograph and date of birth\, and be tamper-proof.\nOne adult may accompany as many as three youths.\nSupervising adults are responsible for the actions of the youth they accompany and must ensure they are following the festival’s Code of Conduct.\n\n\nCode of Conduct\nParticipants are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct\, which event staff will actively enforce. Misconduct includes\, but is not limited to: \n\nIllegal\, irresponsible\, or unsafe use of alcohol and other substances\nObscene or offensive gestures\, including through imagery\, symbolism\, banners\, signs\, or other visuals deemed offensive\nUnwelcome sexual attention\, advances\, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature\nFighting and other actions that may harm\, endanger\, threaten\, or bring discomfort to people or personal property\nCreating an intimidating\, hostile\, or offensive environment\, including taunting\, physical or verbal advances\, remarks\, bullying\, offensive jokes\, harassing\, taking or sharing sexually explicit pictures\, intimidation\, or stalking\nDistracting\, interacting with\, or in any way interfering with a service animal\nAccessing restricted areas without proper credentials
