Tinley Park, Illinois: The first day of autumn is the perfect time for Fall Fest! Come celebrate the season with the Tinley Park-Park District on Saturday, September 21 from 6:00 until 8:30 pm at McCarthy Park, 16801 80th Avenue.
Families are invited to build a scarecrow to take home! Supplies and instructions are provided for creating your scarecrow, but feel free to bring an outfit from home. Enjoy a sitting around a toasty warm bonfire and roast marshmallows just the way you like them! Stop in the Theater to watch a fun holiday cartoon.
Take a stroll down the path to Tinley Junction Mini Golf for a round of Ghostly Golf on the hauntingly spooky course. A round of golf is $7 per person. Each golfer receives a pumpkin that can be personalized at the decorating station. And don’t miss the old-fashioned hayride! There is so much to do be sure to get there on time to fit it all in!
