Tinley Park, Illinois: The Kidz Theater program of the Tinley Park Performing Arts Center is presenting ‘Babes in Toyland’, a play by Rebecca Ryland. In this delightful story, Mistress Mary Quite Contrary intends to marry the heroic Alan. The trouble begins when Alan’s villainous Uncle Barnaby decides he wants to marry her instead. Mary and Alan set off on a great adventure and arrive in Toyland where they meet many quirky and magical characters. Everyone must work together to foil the evil Barnaby! The audience will love the cartoon-like, melodramatic fun in this update to the popular story!
The performances are Saturday, November 23 at 6:00 pm and Sunday, November 24 at 2:00 pm. The Performing Arts Center is located at 16801 80th Avenue in Tinley Park.

The Performing Arts Center, a facility of the Tinley Park-Park District, is home to Tinley Park Community Theater, and Tinley Park-Park District Kidz, Teen, Children and Musical theater groups.
