Vogt Woods

Scenic and spacious, Vogt Woods, which was acquired in 1974, is a favorite picnic spot in Tinley Park. Facilities include a picnic shelter, bean bag boards, Ed Howlett Sr. Football Field, Jim Phelan Playground, and Joe Tholl Ball Field, as well as beautiful open space in a wooded setting. The site adjoins Fulton School Park and is 37.9 acres of recreational family fun!. The Vogt Woods Recreation Building, also located within the park, houses various recreational programs, including Tot Time Preschool. The building was constructed in 1977.
