Join us on Saturday, January 31, 2026 for a race event unlike any other in Illinois sponsored by Midwest Express Clinic! Get out of the cold and head indoors: no ice underfoot, no frigid gusts in your face, and no snow overhead! Who knew running in circles was so much fun? Music, camaraderie, and running! Race to Recycle 5k is a day event targeting all on the simple way to enhance the ecosystem along with promoting positive resources on how to recycle. The race will be professionally chip-timed for accurate individual lap and finish times. Get tickets here: bit.ly/44cFh34 ![]()

To minimize injury and “traffic jams”, runners/walkers can pick their preferred heat based on their average personal running speed:![]()

Heat #1 – For runners/walkers of any level (Walkers/Runners 27 minutes and above)![]()
Heat #2 – For the fastest runners (15-20 minutes 5k)![]()
Heat #3 – For the intermediate runners (20-27 minutes 5k)![]()
Heat #4 – Kids fun Race for runners/walkers of any level (6-10yrs of age) willing to take on the chaos of Indoor Race to Recycle (1MILE/8 Laps)![]()
Heat #5 – Kids fun Race for runners/walkers of any level (11-17yrs of age) willing to take on the chaos of Indoor Race to Recycle (2MILE/16 Laps)![]()
Walkers are welcome (we will have a dedicated outside lane for walkers).
