The Outdoor Band Shell is located at Community Park and is part of the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, on the east side of the building (facing 80th Avenue). The Band Shell hosts the Park District’s Summer Concerts and Movies in the Park series, as well as other special events throughout the year.
Bring your picnic basket, lawn chair or blanket, and join us at The Band Shell eight evenings of live music and movies this summer. Our line up this year offers something for everyone! Special thanks to Republic Bank for their continued support of the Tinley Park-Park District!
Protect the Parks
The District takes great pride in providing safe, clean outdoor amenities for residents and visitors and our staff works hard to maintain the premises. If you see something unusual happening at a park, please notify us at 708-342-4200 or the Tinley Park Police Department at 708-532-9111. For information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons performing acts of vandalism or destruction within any park, there is a reward up to $500.
