Commissioner Don Cuba was recently recognized by the Illinois Association of Park Districts for his dedication! Don has lived in Tinley Park for over 30 years, raising four children here with his wife while also coaching for the Bobcats. In 2021, Don decided to run the Board of Commissioners to further contribute to the community he cares for so deeply. His favorite part of being a Commissioner is the reward of being part of the Park District family, witnessing the dedication of the staff who work tirelessly to provide creative and exceptional recreation opportunities for the hardworking families of Tinley Park. Congratulations, Don!

Congratulations to Commissioner Lisa O'Donovan for being recognized by the Illinois Association of Park Districts for her commitment to our community! Lisa is a lifelong resident of Tinley Park, a proud mother of three young children, and has been a local educator for 18 years. As Commissioner, Lisa has played a key role in enhancing Park District resources and services that Tinley Park residents enjoy and rely on. Lisa is deeply passionate about fostering an environment where individuals of all ages have the tools, support, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
Last weekend, Commissioner Marie Ryan was recognized by the Illinois Association of Park Districts for her commitment to parks and our community! For over 33 years, Marie has called Tinley Park home with her husband John and raised her two daughters here. Marie has always been actively involved with the park district, teaching sports, art & programs for decades. In 2003, driven by a desire to see a permanent recreation center built, Marie ran for the Park District Board and has served as a member ever since! She was integral in leading the efforts to build our Bettenhausen Recreation Center and White Water Canyon Water Park. Congratulations, Marie!
